Google Apps Email Migration: Tech Note #1
Migration Notice:  If you currently use FPB’s Webmail (SmarterMail), you have probably noticed that you have an Inbox, Sent Items, and Deleted Items folders or containers.  When the migration is complete, your mail will be found under Inbox, Sent Mail, and Trash in the new system, respectively.  Google has a system-wide policy where messages that have been in the Trash more than 30 days will be automatically deleted.  Therefore, please be aware that when we complete the migration in a few weeks, any mail in your Deleted Items folder more than 30-days old will be completely deleted from the system.

This *does not* affect customers who exclusively use POP3 method of email delivery.  Only IMAP and Webmail customers will be affected by this 30-day Trash policy.

A Caller ID service is susceptible to fraud. Using a practice known as “caller ID spoofing,” callers can deliberately falsify the telephone number and/or name relayed as the Caller ID information to disguise the identity of the calling party. For example, identity thieves who want to collect sensitive information such as your bank account or other financial account numbers, your social security number, your date of birth or your mother’s maiden name, sometimes use caller ID spoofing to make it appear as though they are calling from your bank, credit card company, or even a government agency.
FPB cable customers, does your DTA or advanced set-top converter ever act strange? If so, please unplug the device from the power source. This can be accomplished by removing the plug from the wall outlet, or you can unplug  the power cable which connects directly to the device. While you are doing this, also check to make sure the cable connection is secure.
Parental Control allows you to control the programs that can be viewed on your TV when using an advanced set top cable box. This way, you can make sure your family doesn't watch anything you don't want them to.
