Customer Service Statement Regarding Cable Modem Upgrades & IP Restrictions

FPB's new Residential and Business Cable Modem Packages restrict the number of IPs to only 1 Dynapic IP by default. If you have multiple devices* attached to your cable modem, you will have to use a Router or Firewall** (wired or wireless) to supply them all with Internet access***.

*Multiple Devices = examples: 1 PC using Ethernet & 1 PC using USB; 2 PCs on a network switch, or a PC & game console or web cam, etc.
**Router or Firewall = these will allow multiple devices to connect through 1 IP address -- network hubs or switches do not quality.
***Internet Access = if you switch devices atttached to the cable modem, you will need to power cycle (reboot) the modem afterward.

NOTE: Additional IPs can be purchased for $10 each per month. If you contact Tech Support, you may be required to bypass your router or firewall to fully troubleshoot your issue. FPB does not support home networking devices. While FPB's new multi-megabit packages are very fast, some older cable modems may have trouble achieving their full bandwidth potential. If you experience this, you may need to consider new equipment.

If you would like to establish E-mail addresses with your FPB account, please enter your requests below. E-mail address selections are not required and are subject to availability. E-mail addresses must be between 3 and 30 characters and end in @fewpb.net (not included in character count).

Once your new E-mail account has been set-up, your initial login will be the E-mail address you requested along with your FPB Account Number as your password. Once you have logged in, you will be able to change your password.
